The Boating for Beginners Workshop is for people that are interested in discovering boating. This free seminar is designed for people considering purchasing a boat, but they are curious about buying and operating a boat. We'll cover a variety of topics related to boating: choosing the right type of boat, purchasing a boat, required licenses, safety equipment needed, boat accessories, docking procedures, rules of navigation, boat maintenance and much more. The class could also be helpful for anyone wanting to learn more about boating safely on Buckeye Lake.

While this seminar is targeted to people that are 16+ who are interested in learning about purchasing and operating a boat. The class is oriented towards beginners to boating.
