ABOUT ABOUT

Buckeye Lake Women & Boats Workshop is for ladies who are interested in discovering boating.  *Please NOTE* This seminar will be located on the second floor.  This free seminar is designed for people considering purchasing a boat, but they are curious about buying and operating a boat.  We'll cover a variety of topics related to boating: choosing the right type of boat, purchasing a boat, required licenses, safety equipment needed, boat accessories, docking procedures, rules of navigation, boat maintenance and much more.  The class could also be helpful for anyone wanting to learn more about boating safely on Buckeye Lake.

There are a limited number of spots and registration is open now.

While this seminar is targeted to women 16+ who are interested in learning about purchasing and operating a boat, men are welcome to attend. The concept of offering the class to women is to create a comfortable setting - where it may be easier to openly ask question. The class is oriented towards beginners to boating.

This seminar is sponsored by Buckeye Lake Marina, Lisa Stewart - Howard Hanna, East & Northeast Harbor Marinas and Pappy D's Island House.

Restrictions

Please note that this Seminar will be located on the SECOND FLOOR.  There is additional parking across the street on Greenlawn Avenue or at the Buckeye Lake Leibs Island Boat Ramp (2905 Leibs Island Road NE) which is a VERY short walk to Pappy D's Island House.
